Watch Death Race 2 Online - Full Movie from 2. In Death Race, the introduction hints at a dystopian future where prisoners were turned into modern day gladiators, fighting to the death on live streaming broadcasts. It was only after the popularity of the hand to hand fights wore thin that executives invented the Death Race, where armed and armored vehicles run for the finish line while spitting hot lead at one another, trying to be the first across. Death Race 2 takes the audience back before the film starring Jason Statham, showing how the race became what it is in the first place.

Carl Lukas (Luke Goss) is a convict that feels bad about what he did to be sent to Terminal Island Penitentiary. When he refuses to stand by and just let the blood sport claim the lives of weaker inmates though, he becomes the top candidate for the upcoming Death Race. He survives gladiatorial matches with hulking brutes only to be thrown onto a blacktop killing ground where it's him and half a dozen other hardened killers, with freedom as the prize dangled over the line. Watch You Again Online (2017). The original Frankenstein, Lukas is horribly burned, but refuses to die. His last act though is to kill the woman that arranged the race and put him in this position, running her down before he grinds gears back onto the track for one more lap. Death Race 2 didn't score as big as the "original" remake of Death Race. The camera quality and production didn't feel as gritty or rough, but the film gained by bringing back characters that we would see later in Death Race.

It filled in a lot of the gaps in the mythos of the world, and it told the story of the original driver Frankenstein, how he came to be and what his drives for the race were. A solid action movie that adds to the Death Race franchise, Death Race 2 is a good follow up, even if it doesn't lap the first film.
